HON. SPEAKER OF THE ECOWAS PARLIAMENT SENDS INDEPENDENCE MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE OF GUINEA
The Hon. Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Rt. Hon. Sidie Mohamed Tunis has sent a congratulatory message to the people of Guinea on the occasion of their 62nd Independence Anniversary.In a letter addressed to the President of the Republic of Guinea, H.E. Alpha Conde, the Speaker recalled the struggle of the people of Guinea towards the march to freedom and independence and thanked the nation for their giant contributions towards the integration of the sub-region. The Hon. Speaker reaffirmed the resolution of ECOWAS Parliament to continue to ensure that the diversity of the Member States remains an edge for the advancement of the ECOWAS project.
