The Committee shall be responsible for matters relating to:
Health equity within the Member States.
Legislation concerning protection against dangers to human health arising from bacteria and residues in animal products, public health checks on foodstuffs and food production systems;
Follow-up and harmonization of policies in the field of public health;
Pharmaceutical products;
WAHO and other international health organisations.
